Finally, itโ€™s April and the earth is warming, sun is peeking through more often and the flowers are showing the blooms. Joy glimmers abound in spring for me. Itโ€™s also the time of year where in the northern hemisphere, the rivers are filling with rain water and snow melts so this river theme swirled for this monthโ€™s podcast sharing wisdom drawn from natureโ€™s way in life.

Compassionate Meditation
 for When You're Struggling

This meditation speaks in the voice of Compassion directly to you in a time when you're feeling badly for making a mistake, even a high stakes one with impact on others. It shares the genre of self-compassion letter writing, a letter from your wise compassionate self to a part of you that is needing to hear a kind friend's supportive voice. Compassion is that voice in this meditation meeting the feelings of distress and beginning the healing from the very human experience of feeling guilt, even shame, when you've made an impactful mistake.
